On 22 December, GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited (3800.HK), a globally leading enterprise in multicrystalline wafers launched “GCL Quasi-Mono Wafer G2”, the second generation of quasi-mono wafer product and announced its commencement in commercial production. Targeting the mainstream application in the market of high efficiency wafers, the product can be used in the production of modules with output of 280/335W (60/72PCS) or above as its fibre optic conversion efficiency raised by 1.1% on average.
